I’m a little late posting my July reading roundup, I’m a little late posting my July reading roundup, but since I was on summer break, it was a really busy reading month. I finished the month with 19 books and 6894 pages! So it took a little while to get through all of my reviews. Swipe through to see which books I thought were awesome and which ones I didn’t think were so great.

I was doing a reading challenge that really had me branching out into books I wouldn’t have read otherwise. And I was surprised at how much I really loved some of them!

What’s your favorite book so far this summer?

Yesterday was National Planner Day! I celebrated Yesterday was National Planner Day!

I celebrated by doing my monthly reset in my planner. That involved closing out the month of July and making sure August is ready to go. I’m also planning already for what I want to use for 2027. I’m thinking I might try the small Nancy planner by @laureldenise. So I made a mock up of one month that I’m going to use alongside my Luna and see which I like best.

I really like my Luna, but loved the format of the Nancy when I used it, but I think they are both too big since I am used to more A5 sized planners from all my years as a bullet journaler. Plus, I’ve decided I like the wire-o binding more than the spiral which is what rules out the upcoming small Luna.

So I’ll let you know how it goes?

Did you do anything to celebrate?

Posting a little late, but here is my June reading Posting a little late, but here is my June reading round up! June’s book count took me right up to the halfway point for my yearly reading goal of 100 books. As you can see, I binge read a couple of series by Emily Childs @authorecchilds, a new author to me. If you haven’t read her books, I would definitely check them out!

This simple three step weekly planning routine wil This simple three step weekly planning routine will help keep you on track and feel ready for the next week.
Every weekend, take a few minutes to do these three things:
1. Review- see what still needs to be done from this week, what you can just mark off/cancel and what you have accomplished.
2. Retro- ask yourself these questions: What went well this week? What could have gone better? And what’s one thing g I would like to change about my planning for next week?
3. Reset- set up your next week. Fill in any appointments, tasks, top priorities, meal plans, all the things!

And just like that, you are ready for the next week!

In this video I used the @laureldenise Luna planner. If you want to try it out, use my affiliate link and the code ALLISON10 for 10% off your order. 😊

You can use the extra printed parts of the sheet for check boxes, rectangles for headings, or even the long parts as skinny washi!
The Laurel Denise banner packs are such a great deal and then realizing you can get even more out of them makes it that much better!
